As of today, the Old River Control Structure is above 100% it’s project design capacity, if you don’t know what I’m talking about, then you don’t know how the Army Corps of Engineers has been battling with nature on the Mississippi delta for the last 70 years. Sadly there can only be one outcome when you battle with nature, and that is the entity that has been around for billions of years will eventually win, hopefully that victory doesn’t come just yet.
